Top 3 Marketing Automation Tools

1. HubSpot

In the words of HubSpot themselves, "HubSpot is an inbound marketing and sales software that helps companies attract visitors, convert leads and close customers." The great thing about HubSpot is that it’s pretty much an all-in-one solution for inbound marketing and marketing automation. It’s a very versatile tool and requires little training to figure out. In fact, the user interface is so good, that it quickly explains the dashboard, and you hit the ground running. HubSpot also publishes many blogs on how to use their software efficiently. If you're looking for something that gives you control over a variety of marketing systems, HubSpot is the way to go.

2. Constant Contact

Constant Contact's functionalities lie somewhere between email marketing and marketing automation. It’s essentially an email automation software. The reason it's on this list is that it's dirt cheap. Of course, it doesn't have the depth that Marketo or HubSpot has, but that's because it's priced 50 times less than Marketo. At a starting price of 20 USD per month, Constant Contract is a very easy to use solution for small business that wants to keep tabs on their customers. If you need the extra features, you might want to go with HubSpot instead. This is a great tool for small business owners, but if you plan to expand your marketing automation in the future, this tool will not cut it.

3. Marketo

Marketo is one of the best marketing automation tools for those of you looking for an advanced experience. Marketo is meant to be used by large companies, and with that in mind, it’s definitely the most expensive software suite on this list. One of the most commonly mentioned advantages to using Marketo is that you won't need to transition to another marketing automation tool as it is an all-encompassing piece of software. Marketo has a large database of tutorials and support, but the only disadvantage with Marketo is that the learning curve is steep. Your marketers will require some basic training and will need to be slightly tech-savvy to navigate this tool.
