CRM ready templates for Email

In my search for awesome email templates, I came across this amazing article on HubSpot by Jill Konrath. Jill, HubSpot, Reppify, and Breakthrough Email shared their best email templates in that article, and I’m going to go over the ones that stood out the most with me. The following templates can be used with any email provider but they were optimized for Salesforce and HubSpot CRM. If you haven’t read about how awesome HubSpot CRM is, then you can click here, to read our blog on HubSpot CRM. I have included only a few templates from the original article, feel free to check out the original blog post for more templates.

Email Template Legend

In the following templates:

<< >> - Angle brackets represent parts of the email that can be customized

{{  }} - Curly brackets represent a contact property. Single curly brackets is for Salesforce and {{ or }} is for HubSpot CRM.

Cold emails

Ever had to sit down and write a cold prospecting email to a future lead. They’re sometimes the most difficult emails to write because of how easily they might get deleted or ignored. A lot of people make purchasing decisions to solve problems. Jill and her team have done the same in their template:

{CONTACT.FIRSTNAME}

Because I work so much with << YOUR TARGETED INDUSTRY >>, I constantly follow industry news.
Recently I noticed that you’ve << INSERT COMPANY ACTION >>

Usually when that happens, << INSERT BUSINESS ISSUE >> becomes a priority.
That’s why I thought you might be interested in finding out how we helped << SIMILAR FIRM >> get going
quickly in their new direction – without any of the typical glitches.

If you’d like to learn more, let’s set up a quick call.
How does << SPECIFIC DAY AND TIME >> look on your calendar?

P.S. If you’re not the right person to speak with, who do you recommend I talk to?

Tried setting up email workflows and capturing leads to no avail?

Emails for Inbound Leads

When a lead has shown interest in a content piece and decides to download an ebook, requested a demo etc. following up with a lead like this as soon as you can is likely to convert them. You could maybe use a conversation bot in your CRM software to achieve this. If you are, here is a nice template:

Hi {CONTACT.FIRSTNAME},
You recently visited our website and downloaded << INSERT CONTENT PIECE >>. Did you
download the piece just to learn more about << TOPIC OF CONTENT PIECE >>? Or, are you
looking for a cost-effective solution to << TOPIC OF CONTENT PIECE >>?
I actually did some research on {!Lead.Company} and have the following tips:
- << INSERT TIP >>
- << INSERT TIP >>
Have you thought of doing this?
Best,

Follow up emails

Suppose a lead hasn’t gotten back to you, missed the email etc. following up with them can make the difference between closing a sale or losing the customer forever. The team at Breakthrough Email contributed to this template for a quick follow up:

{CONTACT.FIRSTNAME},

I’m writing to follow-up on my email. I didn’t hear back from anyone on the team. If it makes
sense to talk, let me know how your calendar looks.

If not, who is the appropriate person for me to talk to?

Thanks for your help,
