ZOHO CRM was connected to HubSpot using Zapier to sync-up data. This setup had to be audited and troubleshot. Zaps were to be tested out to ensure that it was working properly between the two systems. Zapier is a one-way data transfer tool and such setup are ridden with circular data references.
We created zaps with custom filters, if/else logic to avoid zap looping (continuous transfer of data when conditions are met). Data were formatted using custom zap formatters/look-up values to pass various values in the same format. This solution required some serious creative thinking and analytical skills considering that we were constrained with no option to use a straightforward two-way sync-up tool.
